    Contributing to two cognitive-linguistic projects:
    • The TikTok Project – analyzing how digital language patterns affect attention, statistical learning, and cognitive load
    • Statistical Learning & Cognitive Function – examining how word length influences pattern recognition and memory consolidation in early development
  • Duke University – Thompson Writing Program Researcher
    Investigating how rhetorical strategies influence children’s cognition and motivation during cancer recovery.
    Lead author of “The Role of Overpraise in Shaping Self-Identity During Pediatric Cancer Recovery.”
  • University of Georgia – College of Veterinary Medicine Researcher
    Studying how chronic hyperglycemia activates the polyol pathway and oxidative stress, contributing to neurodegeneration in Alzheimer’s disease.
    Produced a 22-page literature review (submitted for publication), mentored by Osayomore Lacour.
  • Isakson Center for Neurological Disease Research – Liu Lab Onsite Research Scholar
    Supported time-sensitive cell culture experiments, behavioral assays, sample processing, and early-stage neurological disease modeling.
    Observed how microscopic cellular changes translate into functional cognitive deficits.
  • Global Thrombosis Forum (GTF) Member & Research Presenter
    Presenting original research on flavonoids in dark chocolate and venous thrombosis reduction at the 2026 American Venous Forum.
    Sharing earlier findings at the 2025 national Anticoagulation Forum.
